Through the microscope
Licht ist nicht nur die Grundlage eines jeden Fotos – es ist auch eines der grundlegenden Notwendigkeiten bei der Mikroskopie.
Die Mikroskopie entführt uns in die Welt der kleinen Dinge und zeigt unerwartete Schönheit auch in dieser Dimension.
Die Serie „Through the micrsocope“ zeigt Bilder, welche digital mit einem Laser-Raster-Mikroskop (CLSM) im Durchlichtmodus aufgenommen wurden. Die Falschfarben repräsentieren Bereiche mit unterschiedlichem Absorptionsverhalten der Objekte. Was auf den Fotos zu sehen ist, ist auf Grund der ungewohnten Größe oft nicht sofort ersichtlich und lässt Raum für eigene Interpretationen.
